Honda Grom/Monkey/Dax TPS/ECU Reset Procedure

For the reset process on the Honda Grom/Monkey/Dax/Cub/CT125, it will require a small paperclip or spare wire with stripped ends if you do not have the SCS connector.
Without the SCS connector you can connect the blue and green wires and follow the instructions attached in the PDF's below -

ECU Reset Process
There are two types of check engine lights, one that has a blinking pattern, and one that has a steady check engine light

Type 1 -
ECU Reset for restarting the learning trims, or erasing standard check engine lights that are BLINKING
Step 1 - Use the SCS Connector or a small paperclip to bridge the green and blue wire.
Step 2 - Grip the throttle wide open, and then key on with your free hand while continuing to hold the throttle wide open, do this for 8-10 seconds. The check engine light will go from steady orange to flashing orange.
Step 3 - Release once it begins flashing. Key bike off and remove SCS connector to paperclip.

Type 2 - ECU Reset for restarting learning trims, or erasing an emissions check engine light that STAYS ON, without blinking.
Step 1 - Disconnect the injector found at your throttle body, this is generally on the very front of the intake manifold, below the airbox.
Step 2 - Use the SCS Connector or a small paperclip to bridge the green and blue wire.
Step 3 - Grip the throttle wide open, and then key on with your free hand while continuing to hold the throttle wide open, do this for 8-10 seconds. The check engine light will go from steady orange to flashing orange.
Step 4 - Release once it begins flashing. Key bike off and remove SCS connector to paperclip.
Step 5 - Re-connect the injector from step 1, and repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 once again.

If this process fails, repeat steps 1-5.

NOTE: When connecting an SCS connector or paperclip to bridge green/blue, a steady check engine light on the dash is normal during the reset procedure until the key is off and it is fully removed.
